This section describes our trip to China to adopt Isabelle in late May of 2006, including a detailed narrative of the trip and links to photos.

The Chinese government officially logged our adoption application on May 27, 2005.  We received notification of our adoption referral from the Chinese government on March 22, 2006.  The first photos of Baijie FU arrived via email on March 30:

On April 5, 2006, we notified the Chinese government that we were accepting the referral and intended to adopt Fu, Baijie.  We left for China on May 24, 2006 with our nine year old daughter Anna in tow.
